Biography —
Eun Ah Cho is an assistant professor of Korean language and culture, specializing in modern and contemporary Korean studies. Her research examines how literature, films, and media shape societal perceptions and discourses surrounding marginalized groups in South Korea. Dr. Cho is currently writing a book that explores the narratives and images of North Korean refugee women through economic, cultural, and gender lenses. She is also embarking on a project investigating the intersection of sexuality, disability, and aging in Korean society and culture.
Before joining KU, she taught at University of California, Irvine, University of Southern California, San Diego State University, and the University of Sydney in Australia.
