Foreign Language Tables

Our department sponsors different language tables for students to practice their language skills outside of the classroom.  Although these meetings are often organized by an instructor, they are primarily social in nature and often take place off campus.  Meetings usually take place only when classes are in session.

KU Polyglot Language Exchange

The KU Polyglot Language Exchange encourages people of all languages at any level of proficiency to come and practice the language of their choice in an informal, relaxed setting. Students can chat with native speakers of the language they are learning or exchange information and advice with other language-learners. East Asian languages practiced have historically always included Chinese and Korean, but vary from semester to semester. Anyone is free to attend at their leisure.
