• ECIV 304 or 305 (3 credits)
• Pre-modern Japanese Literature in translation (3 credits)*
• Modern Japanese Literature or Film in translation (3 credits)*
• Pre-modern Japan (3 credits)
• Modern Japan (or East Asia) (3 credits)

Honors 499 may be used to fulfill either of the requirements marked with *
